Poplin Cotton Vietnam Tropical Jungle Green Boonie Hat for 1st and 2nd Pattern uniform
This is the early or 1st pattern Boonie that was issued with the 1st pattern and 2nd pattern tropical jungle uniforms.
This is made from poplin cotton and does not have the ripstop weave in the material which the later Boonie hat has. The ripstop Boonie was issued with the 3rd pattern jungle uniform which was introduced during the Vietnam war.
This Boonie hat is made from poplin cotton which is slightly heavier cotton than the ripstop version.
Perfect match for our 1st and 2nd pattern jungle uniforms.

The originals where issued with a removable insect head net, these Boonies do not include the head net.
