Colorado Western Cowboy Gun Holster Belt Rig Brown
The Colorado gun rig is a Buscadero style holster designed for a quick draw as the holster allows the pistol to sit close to your hand. These belt rigs are seen in almost every Hollywood western, name any classic western film and the chances are the Buscadero style holster will be there.
The Colorado rig has a leather belt with 18 shell loops to fit 45 Long Colt rounds. The belt has a brass buckle and the strong leather belt has a plain finish with a row of stitching around the edges.
The right side of the belt has a slot cut into it where the holster is looped into, so it hangs lower for a quick draw. There is a leather lace at the top of the holster to slide over the pistol hammer and a longer leather lace on the bottom of the holster to tie around your leg.
The holster will fit various western pistol including the classic Colt single action peacemaker, the older cap and ball civil war era pistols like the 1860 Army and 1851 Navy revolvers. The holster is open on the bottom to allow various barrel lengths to fit.

Belt sizes, the measurements given are with the belt laid out flat and measured on the front from the base of the buckle along the belt to the second and last hole on the adjustment. You will need to allow for any clothing and how you plan to wear the rig IE on a slant, under the belly, around the belly etc.
We find the medium usually fits a person with a trouser size between a 32" and 36" waist.
