Pack tail or pack carrier for the American WW2 M1928 haversack, the pack tail was added to the M1928 doughboy pack to give the pack extra storage for when the full equipment with rations load out was required.
This pack extension is made by Kay Canvas, it fits onto the bottom of the haversack to give extra carrying capacity. This is often called the pack tail.

Premium quality webbing, these are made by Kay Canvas using the best fabrics. The metal is brass not steel and the cotton canvas webbing has the correct weight and weave of the originals for a high quality pouch. These are as good as originals, they just do not have that old musty smell to them.
