These are the H.B.T. (herringbone twill) trousers specially design for women in WW2.

This was the summer field uniform worn by women in the US Army including the Nurse's, the M43 combat jacket or the Officers field coat could be worn over the HBT uniform in colder conditions.

IMPROVED SIZES.

Theses are the same correct fabric and design as the previous runs but we have improved the sizing of this 2020 production. After customer feedback we have made some changes to the sizing, in particular we have have made the waist slightly smaller and the hips larger which gives a better fit than the previous trousers we have also made the leg lengths shorter in particular the smaller sizes.

These changes were due to customer feedback so thank you for getting in touch and helping us to improve.

Description

These are the H.B.T. (herringbone twill) trousers specially design for women in WW2.

This was the summer field uniform worn by women in the US Army including the Nurse's, the M43 combat jacket or the Officers field coat could be worn over the HBT uniform in colder conditions.

The trousers button up on the sides and there are button leg adjustments on the bottom of the legs, two patch pockets on the front.

The colour is the correct dark shade green.

The uniform was worn with the Daisy Mae hat, knitted wool cap (jeep cap) nurses garrison cap or the M1 helmet. Footwear was the brown leather field shoe (boot) which was later replaced by the M43 buckle boot and canvas gaiters could be worn for extra protection.

Sizes are as follows. These are the actual measurements of the trousers. These are designed to worn as high waisted trousers, for the hip measurement we have measured across the trousers from 30cm down from the waist band.
