US Orange Holland, Netherlands Lanyard

£19.99 £16.66

Netherlands Orange lanyard awarded to American units that had fought in WW2 for the liberation of Holland.

The Orange Netherlands lanyard was worn by all US troops that had participated in the liberation of Holland in WWII it was worn on the US Army four pocket A Class tunic and the Ike jacket.

World War Two units that are allowed to wear the Dutch Orange lanyard include the US 82nd Airborne Division and the 101st Airborne Division who where involved in Operation Market Garden.

WW2 lanyards are worn over the left shoulder of the dress uniform, there seems to be no official way of wearing more than one lanyard on WW2 uniforms, but it seems that two could be worn on the left and if you wear awarded 3 the third one was worn on the right shoulder.
