US WW2 M2 M1917 Revolver belt holster in Russet Brown
American belt hip holster for the US military issue S&W M1917 revolver.
This holster is made in a russet brown colour and has a wide belt loop on the back.
This is the WW2 version which was introduced when the M1917 Smith and Wesson reveolver was re-issued during WW2. The holster design was changed in 1942 so the butt faced to the rear, it was still worn on the right hip but the instead of the butt facing forward like on the WW1 version the butt faces to the back.
This version includes the leg tie but it fixes directly into the base of the holster it does not have the metal clip on the holster base.
