Major John Smith (Clint Eastwood) in "Where Eagles Dare" badge set

These 3 badges were worn on Major John Smith  Officers Wool field tunic underneath his winter parka which he removed in the bierkeller and once he had gained access to the Castle.

• Edelweiss cloth arm badge to prove he was a member of the Elite Gebirgsager (Upper right sleeve)
• Black wound badge awarded for  5 separate combat engagements ( lower left pocket)
• 1939 1st Class German Iron Cross was awarded for bravery in battle (Centre left pocket)
