WW1 British Army Tommy Sewing Pouch
The sewing pouch was issued to soldiers during WW1 and would carry all the items required to maintain a uniform such as needles, pins, thread and buttons.
Made from cotton drill with a pouch for buttons and has awool flap which is stitched at the top and used to pinning neddles etc
The pouch measures approximately 36x12cm.
