British First Field Dressing

First field dressing as would have been issued to all soldiers

Printed on the front of the dressings cotton package is War Office Medical division First Field Dressing manufactured by the Liverpool Lint co.

The filling is correct in that there are two individual dressings as issued during the war but in our replica they are not dressings and can not be used to treat injuries.

The dressing was worn in the inside pocket of the WW1 SD tunic or in the front leg pocket on the BD Trousers
