The Mk1 Brodie helmet was introduced in May 1916 as an improvement on the original Brodie helmet

• Steel Helmet with Magnesium rim
• Felt and lint lining attached with a copper rivet
• American cotton lining
• 12 tubular rubber pads around edge for adjusting size
• Chinstrap hangers attached to helmet with a split pin (rivets were used on post war MK1* helmets)
• One piece leather chinstrap with nickle buckle

WW1 Brodie helmet liner and leather chinstrap which contains no harmful materials.

The MK 1 Brodie helmets are made from original MK2 steel shells have stripped out liner, chinstrap hangers and repainted the shell in the correct WW1 wartime paint then fixed in a 100% accurate reproduction
