WW2 101st Airborne M42 jump jacket by Kay Canvas 2022

American WW2 M1942 Jump Jacket fully badged with the 101st Airborne Division shoulder patch.

This is the classic Normandy M42 paratrooper Jump jacket with the reinforced pockets. For Operation Overlord, the D-Day landings the US Para's modified the M42 jump suit by adding elbow patches and they reinforced the edges of the pockets so they could carry heavier loads.

This American WW2 M1942 reinforced jump jacket is made by Kay Canvas Manufacturing and is one of the most accurate M42 jump jackets available.

The “Kay Canvas” M42 jump uniform has been researched with help from various people including the "Screaming Eagles" re-enactment group.

This is more accurate than other M42 jump jackets as it is has the correct style of press studs (only the outer part of the stud is black the rest is nickel) which are made by "Scovill" and the zips are made by "Talon" (both war time manufacturers) its the correct design and the extra finishing touches like the press studs that make the difference.

Features as the originals include:

• Nickel press studs with a black front made by and branded "Scovill" which was a wartime manufacturer of press studs which where used on original jump jackets.
• "Talon" branded chrome zip these branded zips where also used on original wartime M42 jackets.
• Sleeve length is 53cm on the size 36" chest and 55cm on all the other sizes.
• Chest sizes are correct sizing just order your normal size.
• 2 lower cargo pockets reinforced.
• 2 upper chest pockets.
• Pockets have two sets of male studs so you can expand the pocket.
• Throat pocket with double entry zip access for M2 switch blade (Talon branded zips).
