This is a full combat webbing set worn by the German Waffen SS soldier in WW2 who would be armed with the German MP38/MP40 machine pistol.

This webbing set allows the German Waffen SS soldier to carry everything that he needs from ammunition for his MP40 machine pistol to his entrenching tool to dig a trench to the bread bag to carry his rations to his zeltbahn to make a shelter.

The German webbing set is built around the German leather equipment belt where the MP40 ammunition pouches, bread bag, entrenching tool, bayonet and water bottle are fitted on the belt. The Y straps clip onto the MP40 ammo pouches at the front and over the belt at the back. The pack assembly on the back is a rigid A frame which clips onto the Y straps, a small cotton pack fastens onto the bottom of the A frame and then using the straps which are connected on the A frame you can carry the zeltbahn and mess tins.

No bayonet is included in this set and must be purchased separately.
