WW2 Reversible Camouflage USMC poncho Original 2nd model by Archer Rubber

Genuine WW2 Marine Corps camouflage poncho 2nd pattern.

This original issue camouflage poncho is reversible. It has a sand camo on one side and a green camo on the other. This is the 2nd model poncho which was the most popular pattern of camouflage poncho used in World War Two by the USMC. It has press studs and eyelets around the edges.

This poncho has been in storage for over 60 years and is still in good used condition, it is a bit stiff/crispy but it is still possible to move it and fold it. It is not as stiff as some of the USMC ponchos we have had. This is not as soft and pliable as when it was new, this one is crispy enough that it makes noise when you move it. 

There is a 2cm tear by one of the press studs on the nexk closure. It is stamped Archer Rubber Mar USMC. I cannot make out the date or year on the stamp.
