With these items you can convert a normal infantry M1 helmet or post war type of M1 helmet and liner into an airborne paratrooper helmet.
Para helmet chinstrap set includes:
- Canvas A frames to fix into the liner.
- Leather chin cup, fastens onto the A frames.
- M1C paratrooper canvas chinstrap sews onto the bales on the M1 helmet. This has press studs on the end of the straps.
- Two female studs which fix into the liner and the M1C paratrooper canvas chinstrap clips into them.
